Station Road Closure

Please see the information below.  We have been advised that there will be no access to College from the old A30 during these works, but there will be access via Whimple and from the Exeter Road. Work directly outside College will be undertaken during the school day, so access to drop students off in the morning and collect at the end of the day will not be affected.

INFORMATION FROM SOUTH WEST HIGHWAYS

Station Road, Broadclyst closure from Friday 30 Sep – Tues 4 Oct inclusive

Please be advised that circumstances and weather permitting, SWH will be undertaking essential highway maintenance works on behalf of Devon County Council, on 30 September 2016. Please be aware however that these dates may still need to change at short notice.

The works will involve essential cyclic works in the highway. These works will include grass cutting, gully cleaning, central reservation sweeping, patching, surveying, cascade clearance, French drain treatment and any other safety defects required.

Due to the nature of the works and for the safety of our operatives and other road users, a full road closure and diversion will be in place. The work will be undertaken between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00, although these times may vary.

Road ahead closed signs will be situated at each end of the closure and the closure will be actioned as a rolling road closure, moving further down the road once that particular section has been completed.
