Educational Decree No. 39: Bring Literature to Life

On Thursday 2nd March, a motley group of fictional book characters descended on the College to celebrate World Book Day. Amongst this varied group walked Arthur Dent, Paddington Bear, Professor Umbridge, Pocahontas, Mr Bump, Anne Boleyn, Miss Marple, Inspector Goole, Daisy Buchanan, Peter Pan, Professor Trelawney and The Wicked Witch of the West. One member of staff surprised everyone with his tribute to Cruella De Vil. The Principal of the College, Dr Bawn (please look after this Bear) suggested that the chosen book characters said a lot about the personalities of the staff involved! And what do these book characters say about Clyst Vale? Hopefully that the staff are fun, committed to bringing literature to life and perhaps a little mad!
