Molly Appointed England Captain

We’re delighted that in her third year in the national squad for rounders, Clyst Vale’s Molly Dart has been appointed captain of the England under-16 team. Clearly, this is a big honour, and reflects her undoubted leadership qualities as well as prowess at rounders. We are very proud of Molly, and not just for the rounders; she is the sort of student with great energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to make the most of her opportunities and get involved. It’s only a matter of days since she played the part of Sybil in “The Battle of Boat”.

There might be people with a longer memory than mine, but I believe that Molly is the first Clyst Vale England captain in any sport while still a student at the College. A great achievement and accolade.
