Year 7 Trip to Chepstow Castle
For DLD the whole of year 7 went to Chepstow Castle. My favourite part was when the group leader was shooting arrows at a polystyrene head. I also enjoyed the tour of the castle. I saw the toilets that went in to the river. We also saw one of the Kings heads (in stone). My favourite fact that I learnt was that if women wore a yellow coat (or some kind of clothing that was yellow) it was a sign that they wanted a boyfriend/ husband, it was funny because I was wearing a yellow coat.
We also went to the bridge where you are in England on one side and Wales on the other. I also learnt that King Henry V got an arrow stuck in his head and survived!
