CVCC links with VE Day veterans

Molly (Y7) created this amazing display to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

She has a personal connection to the project because her Grandad, Joe, served in World War Two.  If he were still alive today, he would have turned 100 this year – the same age as Captain (now Colonel) Tom Moore!

Molly’s Grandad, Eric, now in his eighties, remembers celebrating the original VE day in Silverton, when he was 6 years old.
