Face coverings in schools and colleges to remain in place

The issue of masks has been widely reported in the news, but we received the following “official” confirmation from the Department of Education today:
“Face coverings in schools and colleges to remain in place
On Tuesday 6 April, the government confirmed that face coverings should continue to be worn in secondary school and college classrooms as a precautionary measure when students return after the Easter holiday.
The following guidance has been updated to align with this announcement:
