Year 10 Positive Covid Test Confirmed

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Further to my letter yesterday, I can confirm that a PCR test has confirmed the positive LFT test for a student in Year 10. Year 10 parents and carers have been sent a separate letter about this.

In brief, all students should attend on Monday as normal, except the 60 students identified as close contacts who must self-isolate until Sunday 11th July. We will switch to “blended learning” for Year 10 lessons. You will appreciate that we have identified close contacts rather than sending the whole Year 10 bubble home.

This is a reminder to all of us that covid is very much still with us. locally cases are rising, and we must maintain our high standards of hand hygiene, social distancing and other precautions.
