Clyst Vale Presents: Little Shop of Horrors
Timid flower shop assistant Seymour has a soft spot for his ditsy but beautiful colleague Audrey. During a total eclipse, he discovers a ‘strange and interesting’ plant that he names Audrey II, which has an unusual diet. The unique, fast growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. This hilarious rock musical follows Seymour’s actions as he attempts to quell the demanding plant’s insatiable appetite, whilst trying to please his irritable boss and win Audrey over at the same time. With hit songs such as Skid Row, Mushnik and Son and of course, the well-loved title song, Little Shop of Horrors is full of great music, fun characters and hilarious situations. Clyst Vale has developed and incredible reputation for energetic, vivacious productions and this one, performed by its senior students, will be no exception!
