Y13 Astronomy Observing Session
Our Year 13’s enjoyed an ‘Astronomy Observing Session’ last night with our own Astronomer Dr Odunlade.
Popcorn, sunset, clear sky, lots of woaws and awesomeness. We saw planets, stellar nurseries, red super giant stars, stellar clusters and constellations. A lovely evening!
“I learnt that the planets are visible in the sky with naked eyes” OW “I learnt how to differentiate planets from stars in the sky” JB
“My favourite part was seeing the stellar nursery below the Orion belt using the binoculars” JB “The best part for me was mapping the constellations with the laser” WB
