U16 Boys Rosslyn Park National Schools Rugby 7s

Well done to all who took part in last week’s tournament in London.

We faced tough competition from  Downshead School, public school Haileybury whose team was led by Director of Rugby Michael Owen (who captained Wales 2005 Grand Slam winning side) and Gravesend Grammar School.

Overall we finished third in our group, a very respectful and deserved result especially considering that 8 of the 13-man squad were year 10 students.  This bodes very well for 2024’s tournament where the year group will have a strong side to select from.

The lads were outstanding and a true credit to the college over the two days. A big thank you to Marc Dibble, Head of Exeter Chiefs U16 and U18 Academy who accompanied Mr Pearce on the trip.
