Ten Tors 2024

So it’s time for Ten Tors to start again!  

At the Team Manager’s briefing day at Okehampton Army camp in early October the adults were updated on plans the Army have for Ten Tors 2024. Then Tuesday lunchtime last week saw us ‘launch’ it to the students!

There were 72 year 9 & 10 students who managed to find a spot in IT4, where we went through the plan for Ten Tors 2024 and what they would need to do if they would like to take part.  There’s the usual lunchtime sessions at school on Tuesday’s after October half term where we cover the theory, and then there are 2 day walks planned followed by 4 camping weekends between now and April.  

We’re after 24 students to fill the 2 x 35-mile and 2 x 45-mile team slots ready for the main event.

 Ten Tors weekend is scheduled for 10-12 May 2024.  Should be quite an adventure ahead! ”
